Wellness Moments from the BIE BHWP are a great way to take a few minutes and decompress from daily stress. The videos suggest implementing research-based wellness and self-care into your daily life.

Cultural Connections

Cultural Connections are Indigenous-focused digital stories created to strengthen emotional resiliency and highlight the importance of building opportunities to harness teachings and traditions as vital cultural protective factors.

Wellness Wednesdays

Wellness Wednesday webinars explore topics pertinent to all BIE staff. These webinars provide practical strategies and information about mental health trends, healthy lifestyle choices, educational best practices and Indigenous resiliency building.

Residential Life Training is a series developed for residential school staff to foster safe, supportive, nurturing and inclusive student environments.

BIE BHWP TTA staff provide virtual webinars throughout the year to support behavioral health and well-being and to promote suicide prevention and resiliency. Most of our webinar presenters are from Tribal communities, many with master’s degrees in education or social work.
